A satisfied little customer...

Joy posted this on my facebook the other day and it makes me smile!!! :)

"I wish I had a video of a conversation I had with one of my cutie patooties today. He comes up to me at snack time while eating your cookie and asks me "Did you make this delicioso cookie, Mrs. K?" I laughed and said..."No, one of my bestest friends did." He said: "I gotta meet this lady. This is the best cookie I've e...ver had...DELICIOSO!" hahahaha I died laughing asking him where he knows the word...delicioso and he said "I'm part mexican, duh! My last name is Sanchez!" hahahah You would love this kid! He is your #1 fan...besides me of course! :) :) :) The cookies were a HIT again! You are so talented and so sweet! I love you!!!!"

Kids say the best things!!! Thank you Mrs. K for sharing that with me, it made my day!!! : )

Back to School

You know that it's going to be a good school year when you walk in to Meet The Teacher Night to find...

not only books on you new desk but a cookie too!!!

Mrs. K has to be one of the worlds most thoughtful teachers! Not to mention that her students always have such a blast with her! I don't ever remember getting anything like this from a teacher when I was a kid, do you?

It was so fun to see her classroom all ready for the year to begin. I love the way the cookies matched her school house theme! Have a wonderful school year 2nd Graders!!

5th Grade Cookies

Mr. K's 5th Grade class is studying US History so he went with a patriotic theme. Seriously, are these not two of the funnest teachers ever?!?!? The really neat thing about these cookies is that some of the students who will enjoy them were in my first 1st grade class. It is hard to believe that they are already in 5th grade!

International Cookie Mail

One of the teachers that I work with asked me if I could make angel cookies for her because she has an aunt who loves angels and she wanted to surprise her with cookies for her Birthday. The amazing thing to me about this story is that she picked up the cookies from me and then packaged them up and shipped them all the way to her aunt in the Netherlands!! Never in a million years did I think my cookies would make it all the way around the world. I feel truly honored that she felt my cookies were worth shipping for such a special gift!!

I wasn't sure how to do the mouth so I tried to make them look like they were singing... : )
