Christmas is Coming...

It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner but apparently it is! I made these cookies for my friend Amy's Mary Kay Open House. It was a great opportunity for me to experiment with some ideas for Christmas.

Ice Skates

I made these for a little girls 8th Birthday Party. Her initials are ST so that's what the letters stand for. It was kind of funny making ice skates in October the day before Halloween. I love ice skating and I think an ice skating birthday party is too cute!

Volleyball

These were for a High School Volleyball team to enjoy after a game against their rival school. Making Volleyballs was a little trickier than I had expected but I think they came out pretty good.

Bridal Shower/ Cookie Mail

Recently, my friend Amy was invited to a bridal shower in Honolulu Hawaii that she wasn't going to be able to attend because she lives in Utah. She wanted to send cookies to the shower so she asked me if I could make and mail them to the party. I had never mailed my cookies before but I thought I would give it a try and see what happened. I made the cookies and mailed them. The mailing part was a little more complicated than I had expected but in the end the cookies ended up getting to the shower just in the nick of time. They arrived intact and they were enjoyed at the party. It was a learning experience to say the least but now, I know that it can be done! Thanks Amy for wanting to send cookies!!!

Ian and Tara's Wedding

I had the honor of making cookies for my cousins wedding. I was so excited that they would ask me to do it and that they wanted to have my cookies at their beautiful wedding. I was pretty nervous because I had never made that many cookies before (150) and I had never done them for something so fancy. I ended up getting some late night help from my family ; ) which I greatly appreciated. They turned out cute and just in time. It was so fun to walk into the reception hall and see the cookies sitting at all the place settings on the fancy tables. It was a beautiful wedding and I was so glad I was able to contribute to their special day. It was also really fun looking around and seeing people enjoying the cookies. Thank you Ian and Tara for letting me do this for you!!!

Back to School

It's hard to believe that it's really that time of year again already! These cookies were for my friend Joy's 2nd grade students for Meet the Teacher Night. I hope they helped to make going back to school after a fun summer just a little bit sweeter!

Baby Shower

I made these cookies for a baby shower this weekend. The baby's name is still up in the air but they know it's going to be a boy and that his name will start with a B... thus the b has many meanings. Blake, Brandon, boy, baby... Her invitations were really cute, they said "Oh Baby!" so that's where the "Oh Baby!" cookie came from. I really enjoyed making these cookies!! It's a fun little way to get to be apart of some important events in peoples lives!
